Milani Baked Blush in Coralina: Review and Swatches

Today I’ll be sharing with you a review one of Milani’s baked blushes in the shade Coralina.

Quick note-as I went to link the product above, the color Coralina is not shown on Milani’s website list which hints towards discontinued status. I did however see it listed on other websites like WalMart and CVS and have still seen it in stores. I’ll make an update here if I find out what the deal is!

Update: As of 12/5/2014, the shade Coralina is featured on Milani’s website so it does not appear to have been discontinued!

Price: $8.49 at CVS

Color: Coralina (coral with shimmer)

Amount of Product: 0.12 ounces or 3.5 grams

Animal Testing: Milani is a cruelty free brand

Coralina is a baked blush and is (obviously) is a lovely coral color. One thing should be made clear-it is full of glitter. Not just a sheen or shimmer, but lots of glitter particles. However, if you swirl your brush in the product and then tap it off well, you will see the glitter falling from the brush so I feel l like the amount of glitter in the pan doesn’t translate to the face if you take precautions. Some sparkle will find it’s way to the cheeks, but I find it to be manageable, and the end result just looks like a “normal” blush (not like you glued glitter to your cheeks!) The pigmentation is very nice, and it’s easy to build up and blend the color. I enjoy this product and would definitely try other colors!

While this picture is blurry, I think it shows off the glitter well!
The blurry nature of this photo shows off the glitter well!

  1. I had no idea they were discontinuing Coralina. I have this one but hardly use it due to the glitter. Reminds me of NARS Super Orgasm in that way. I have Dolce Pink & Luminoso too, both of those two are great and worth purchasing 🙂

    1. Good to know! I had a feeling it was being discontinued because I actually wrote a post about it and when I went to link it from Milani’s site, that color wasn’t listed. But yeah it’s definitely a glitter bomb. Luckily I think when I tap off the brush most of it falls out!

    2. Oh my gosh, I just realized that I didn’t need to mention that post I wrote because you are in fact commenting on that post! I think because we were talking on another post earlier, I assumed this comment was on a different post, not this one haha. Well that was dopey of me 🙂

    1. Haha that’s a good point. But yet it definitely is. I felt like I wanted to emphasize that because when I had looked at swatches before, I couldn’t believe they hadn’t mentioned all the glitter.

  3. I’ve yet to try out any Milani products since I’ve been in the UK but I saw on a forum the other day that they have a really cute rose petal blush range too. So jealous! I’d love to give it a go xx

    1. Oh I’ve actually not heard anything about the rose petal blushes. I’ll have to check that out. Yeah I’ve gotten quite a few comments on this from others in the UK about not being able to get this, boooo. Hopefully things will change in the future 🙂

  4. I have heard so many good things about this brands blushes and I am so sad they don’t stock them in the UK. You are so lucky in the US 🙂

    1. Aw it’s always a bummer when certain brands aren’t in certain places. I’ve run across a lot of posts about things in the UK and am either like it would be hard for me to get it or I’ve haven’t heard of it! Thanks for stopping by 🙂
