NYX Blush in Cinnamon: Review and Swatches

*This blush formula has been discontinued and replaced with NYX’s HD Blushes

Today’s posts features NYX’s powder blush in the shade Cinnamon which is described by NYX as a matte, bright orange.

Price: Around $5 depending on the store

Amount of Product: 0.14 ounces

Animal Testing: NYX is cruelty free

I have one other NYX blush, and I really enjoy both of them! I can’t speak for all of the colors, but Cinnamon and my other shade (Bourgeois Pig) are beautifully pigmented and go on smoothly.

One thing I’d like to note is that the color of this blush looks quite different from how it’s pictured on NYX’s website and from some other swatches I’ve seen. I’ll Google this product and many of the pictures that come up look like a lighter orange than what I have. I definitely see the orange in my blush, but it has some pink to it as well, and mine looks quite a bit darker than other swatches I’ve seen. Just FYI.

I would recommend these nicely pigmented drugstore blushes. The first few photos were taken using an artificial daylight bulb, and the latter photos are outside in natural light.

    1. True…I mean it does seem quite pigmented and like you could definitely build it up. I don’t have great insights on being tan since I’m such a ghost and just burn and thus have never been tan haha. Seems like this kind of coral shade would be really pretty on you though 🙂

  1. I’ve been eyeing orange blushes for the longest time but haven’t actually had the guts to get one. This looks so pretty though!
