There are nine shades in this palette which includes three matte shades and six shimmery/glittery shades. The packaging is their newer version which is a metal tin with a magnetic closure that feels compact and sturdy. It’s also broken down into three horizontal sections: Day, Classic, and Fashion. The little card pictured above provides details for three looks you could create using each horizontal row.

Now on to the eye look! This was the first time I had used this palette.

All over Milani’s Eye Primer. I used Garter Belt in the crease, Sugar Walls all over the lid, French Tickler on the outer corner, and In the Buff under the brow. I used French Tickler and Sugar Walls again on the lower lash line and Satin Sheets in the inner corner.  I got some fall out with these shades especially from the shades with micro glitter like Sugar Walls and French Tickler. The glitter doesn’t seem to translate to the eye unless you were to use a very sticky base.

Overall, I am happy with this palette! I think this is a great palette for lovers of cool tones. Everything has nice pigmentation and can be built up although overall, I’m not a fan of shades with micro glitter in general because they are so prone to messy fallout. I like how these colors go together, and it’s always helpful to have some mattes for blending and crease/transition colors. You could use this to create a very light shimmery eye all the way up to a darker smokey eye. I really enjoy this little palette, and I think Too Faced has some other great options in these 9 shadow palettes too.

Thanks so much for stopping by and reading! Hope you enjoyed 🙂

    1. It really is! This is my first and only Too Faced item at this point. Ugh that’s so true though…I recently cleaned up a bunch of stuff to send to my sister so that helps that feeling a little bit 🙂

    1. Aw thank you, that’s so sweet! Yeah they really are pretty, I had a heck of a time trying to describe those shimmery taupe shades in the middle. I’d look at them in the palette and just could not figure out how to best describe them and the colors would all kind of mesh together haha

  2. I’ve been the same way with lack of beauty spending, except I just bought some new goodies via online shopping that I cant wait to try 🙂 great review of this palette, I have two of these and LOVE them!!! Such a pretty look you created as well.

  3. Really pretty look! I’ve been wanting to treat myself to one of their palettes (maybe the chocolate bar palette). When you break down the price by shadow, it doesn’t seem that bad

    1. Thank you! Well I think that’s a good idea 😉 And that’s quite true, I think that one actually also breaks down to about four per shadow which is good. I mean you can spend that or more on drugstore shadows anyways! I’d been eyeing that one too but I guess the 36 is a little more manageable for me than 50 hehe
