Pixi Beauty Endless Silky Eye Pen in Emerald Gold: Review and Swatches

Hey everyone! Today’s review is all about the Pixi Endless Silky Eye Pen, and I have the shade Emerald Gold.

These liners can be found at Target for $12. Obviously I had to give this a try since this particular shade was on clearance for half the price!

Overall, this is a wonderful eyeliner. The color is a beautiful emerald green, and it’s full of tiny gold shimmers which give it a beautiful metallic look. It’s very pigmented with one swipe, and it goes on incredibly smoothly. I didn’t have to press hard at all to get the swatches on my hand, and the liner glided on like butter which is great since you don’t want to be tugging at your eyes. That being said, the tip is very soft and creamy so this means you will have to be careful about pressing too hard as to not squish to tip too much.

I’ve worn this liner multiple times, and it has great staying power. I first tested this liner by using eye shadow primer on one eye and used the liner by itself on the other eye. There was slight fading (mainly on the wing) on the un-primed side, but considering I have hooded eyes that are slightly oily when I don’t use primer, it lasted very well. The primed side lasted perfectly all day without smudging. Also because this liner is quite soft, I would let it set on your eyelid for a bit until you blink to avoid any transfer onto the skin above.

I swatched the liner on my hand, let it set for a few minutes, and then scrubbed it with my finger and the color didn’t budge. Only the tiny gold shimmers moved around when I rubbed the liner, but hopefully you shouldn’t be experiencing that kind of pressure on your eyelid during the day! Unfortunately I can’t attest to this liner’s staying power on the waterline-because of the tiny shimmers, I didn’t think it would be a good idea to use this in that area.

While I’ve only tested this one shade, I’ve heard similar great things about all of these liners, and I would recommend them as great options for pigmented, long lasting, and easy to apply eyeliners! Thanks so much for reading, and I hope this review was helpful!
