Hello everyone! Today’s review is on Becca’s Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in the shade Pearl.
Price: $38
Amound of Product: 0.25 ounces
Animal Testing: Becca is cruelty free
This product costs $38 and contains 0.25 ounces of product (which strangely is 0.03 ounces less than all of the other shimmering skin perfector powders which contain 0.28 ounces.)
If you’ve been searching for a pure white highligting powder, then Pearl is for you! I know many fair skinned ladies have been waiting for Becca to make Pearl a permanent shade in their collection, and they have finally done it.
Pearl is my second Becca highlighting powder (Moonstone being the first which is reviewed here), and just like Moonstone, Pearl is an excellent quality highlighter. It’s very pigmented, smooth, soft, finely milled, applies and blends nicely, and lasts on me all day. I’d say Pearl has even more “pizzaz” in comparison to Moonstone since white is such an intensely bright shade. That being said, a white highlighter won’t necessarily flatter all skin tones since it’s so light, but luckily Becca has an awesome range of shades to choose from that will compliment the fairest to the deepest skin tones. When applied lightly, you can achieve a subtle glow but Pearl is so intense, that you can really ramp up the intensity of the shine if you like.
The one downside of this product for me is the same con that applies to Moonstone – there are tiny shimmering particles in this powder. It’s not chunky glitter, but you can definitely see sparkles on your skin when you look at things up close.
I hope you found this review helpful, and please share any thoughts you have down below! I’ve also included a comparison of Pearl and Moonstone in the last few photos so you can see the difference between the two!
I’m really loving the posts on your blog, I can’t wait to read more xox

Wow Pearl is so gorgeous. I’m more of a medium light-medium skin tone, but I’d still wear this! xo J

Wow really good in depth review! I think my favourite would be Moonstone especially on my complexion.. I may even pick it up, I’ve been looking for a really shimmery highlighter recently. Where did you pick yours up at?
Looking forward to seeing more from you!
Have a good one! xx

Thank you so much! I love Moonstone too! Oops sorry I do get to mention that. I found it at Sephora. I was actually surprised because I thought it wasn’t going to be in store until the end of January but I got it a couple weeks ago! UT it’s definitely on Sephora online 🙂 Thanks so much for stopping by!
