Music Inspired Makeup: Silver Lining By Rilo Kiley

Hey friends! Welcome to my first Music Inspired Makeup post. The details of the original idea behind this series can be found here

Today’s look was inspired by the song Silver Lining by Rilo Kiley.

I used the title of this song for my inspiration today. It’s very literal-Silver Lining=silver eyeliner! I remembered I had a silver Physician’s Formula Eyeliner, but when I went to try it out, it was pretty dried up. I think I could manage to use it as an eye shadow base, but as an eyeliner it was very dry, patchy, and tough to work with. So for Plan B, I found a silver NYX glitter eyeliner I’d been wanting to use and figured that would be perfect to create my silver liner look! The beauty of a simple eye look like this is that you can pair it with any colors you want on the rest of your face. I opted for my Roleplay Lip Tar I’ve been wanting to use again for that classic winged liner/red lip look-but with a shimmery twist! All the products will be listed below. Hope you enjoy and thanks for stopping by 🙂
